I trust You Lord, though the way may seem grey.
I trust Your sight Lord, it goes further than one day. Your wisdom knows no bounds And Your understanding is unsearchable. Give me clarity as I stay in You. I trust You Lord and i won't lose my way. You promised to direct my paths as I acknowledge You. Well, here I am Lord, here I stand Lord Here I kneel Lord, I wait for You. While I wait I'll sing, While I wait I'll pray, While I wait I'll fast, (just not every day.) You make me smile, You make me laugh, You make me wanna sing, You fill me with joy. What seemed so heavy now seems light, What seems so dark now has life. Its amazing what you can do with a heart surrendered to you. Everyday i make this confession: "You are the God who sees, who knows, who cares Jesus is Your name To You alone I submit my will!"  My hearts longing is You.
My hearts desire is You. My destiny awaits Your returning My spirit longs for Your fellowship. Keep moving in me Lord. Keep filling me Lord. Daily I wade through the cares of life For just a glimpse of Your glory. My hearts cry is You. I'm unsatisfied with religion. Rules & guidelines just won't do. I need the oil of gladness in Your presence To shine through life pure & true. Save me from life at a distance. Save me from head knowledge truth. Save me from mediocrity cause no one goes further Bring me closer to you. All my love, my life, time & energy, My thoughts, desires all i give to You. Save me from a walk at a distance Father I put my trust in You. You are the air I breathe, the song i sing Make my life wrapped totally in you. No excuses, no division, no separation. The One from whom all blessings flow. When i think of You I think of joy unspeakable, In Your presence is where I long to be. You make waves in the desert, You make ways through solid mountain Your love knows no end. When i think of You I think of my Father and friend. How I long to know You better, to do exploits in Your name. How I long to see Your face, Or just sit next to Your frame. Your light brightens all of eternity, There is nothing without You. How I long to know You better, just me and You. To live out life in close quarters with You Is my hearts desire. Oh Lord, I must know all of You.  Oh Lord My God, how excellent are your ways.
Oh God my Father, how great is your Love. Oh King my King, your Kingdom reigns forever, Your love & mercy I seek. Keep me from the pestilence of life that seeks to destroy me. Take me from the pain that tries to consume me. Only Your love can save me. Only Your hand can deliver me. Only Your face can satisfy me. Love me unconditionally is my cry, And yet, You do. You keep the hand of my enemies at bay. You keep the rod of correction ready You keep me from going astray. You chasten me in Love, My wounds are healed. You deliver me through your mighty acts. Great is the Lord My God Holy is Your name!!!  Oh Lord, how Excellent are you Oh God...
Man I love You Father Throughout my life, your faithfulness has been apparent. You have delivered me from the very grasp of hell. When I had no holla for You, You still loved me. When I did things against You, You were patient with me. When justice demanded a sentence of death, Your mercy stopped the gavel, You overturned the evidence and declared me free. You love me like no other. Every good thing about me comes from You. You sustain me daily. Your life gives me life moment by moment. I am in awe of your Glory! My Savior, My King, My Father, My Friend, My God, My Jesus Who could ask for anything more. Romans 7:1-6 NASB
“Or do you not know, brethren (for I am speaking to those who know the law), that the law has jurisdiction over a person as long as he lives? For the married woman is bound by law to her husband while he is living; but if her husband dies, she is released from the law concerning the husband. So then, if while her husband is living she is joined to another man, she shall be called an adulteress; but if her husband dies, she is free from the law, so that she is not an adulteress though she is joined to another man. Therefore, my brethren, you also were made to die to the Law through the body of Christ, so that you might be joined to another, to Him who was raised from the dead, in order that we might bear fruit for God. For while we were in the flesh, the sinful passions, which were aroused by the Law, were at work in the members of our body to bear fruit for death. But now we have been released from the Law, having died to that by which we were bound, so that we serve in newness of the Spirit and not in oldness of the letter.” Ever experience trouble breaking a bad habit. Are you preoccupied with things you want to change about yourself? The bible says “For while we were in the flesh, the sinful passions, which were aroused by the Law, were at work in the members of our body to bear fruit for death.” One effect of the law was that it shows and convicts mankind of sin. Romans 5:13 says, “until the Law sin was in the world, but sin is not imputed when there is no law” Praise God for the law, as it lets us know we are in dire need for a savior. On our own, we can’t fulfill the law, nor can we obtain righteousness or please God. We need a savior! Simple every day tasks can be a challenge when you don’t have help. More serious issues like smoking, drinking, lying, infidelity…anything you struggle with, can prove to be unbeatable on our own. My friend there is hope! Jesus Christ came that we might have life and that more abundantly! Through Christ “…you also were made to die to the Law through the body of Christ, so that you might be joined to another, to Him [Jesus Christ] who was raised from the dead, in order that we might bear fruit for God.” How does this help me? Well, when we acknowledge what Jesus did on the cross, fulfilling the law and stripping sin of its power, we receive ability, power, and grace to overcome the obstacles or the “sin which so easily entangles us…” We change our focus from the problem to the solution, which in turn, takes us from defeat to victory! Focusing only on sin and weakness breeds more sin and weakness. A focus on the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, through His Holy Word, and what He accomplished at the cross brings faith and power to overcome anything we face in life, no matter how big or small. My advice to you my friend would be to start magnifying Jesus Christ, our answer to every issue in life. Start focusing on what Jesus has done for you and freely given you by grace. What He’s done, provided and paid for cannot be earned, only received through faith in Jesus, our savior. Become preoccupied with Him and His word instead of what you don’t have, and what you can’t stop doing. The Holy Spirit will give you grace to overcome every issue in your life. My friends, Jesus Christ has set us free from the law of sin and death! |
